Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actor who is employed on TV and in films is well known for movies such as Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of 16, she had already secured a number of TV roles which included the leading role in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Her performance as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, from Downfall (an Oscar-nominated wartime historical film), was critically and critically acclaimed commercially. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were both nominated for Oscars. Alexandra worked on several notable national and international projects over the years. The projects comprise British biographical films Control and The Dust of Time as in addition to the French historic miniseries Napoleon. The actress also served on the jury at the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
