Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew growing up in Mexico in a family who was passionate about music. She spent most of her youth listening to classical music Boleros from the past, ranchero traditional or romantic tunes along with older classical songs. Ana loves opera and tangos, along with any dramatic performance. After singing with her mom and sister, she began more intense training in vocals at age 16, under the direction of the renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. Her musical education continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. While a student, and as a young professional in Mexico City and Guadalajara she was a member of several chamber ensembles and choirs. In 2000, she relocated into America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007, she returned to her home in southern California. She has performed solo Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As a musician and teacher she has volunteered for numerous community projects due to her enthusiasm and passion for music. Ana was also a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently a teacher of the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Chorale for the permission to sing classic Latin American song.
